"Le sieur Jean Etienne Blanchard nous ayant prié de ne pas exiger dans le moment les mille francs qu'il nous doit par obligation en dette du 6 mars 1794 nous avons bien voulu y consentir mais sous la condition expresse qu'il nous payera désormais l'intérêt au cinq pour cent bien négativement à chaque échéance; C'est à quoi le dit sieur Blanchard s'engage formellement ici en foi de quoi il a signé sous l'obligation générale de tous ces biens à Lausanne ce 16 février 1799."
